Important Guidelines for Fitting Chains
The Tire Chain Fit Chart is to be used as a guide only in fitting tire chains on tires. Tires of a given size designation can very as much as 25% in physical size
depending on tread design and/or the manufacturer. The use of a tire chain stock number - other than that listed in the Tire Chain Fit Catalog - may be required to
properly fit the tire.
It is the vehicle owner's responsibility to determine if tire chains or traction cables can be used on the intended vehicle. This information should be available in the
vehicle owner's manual, from the dealer or the manufacturer.
Where O.E.M. tires have been replaced by tires of a different or larger size, the information concerning the use of tire chains supplied by the manufacturer may no
longer apply. Extreme caution must be used to determine if the use of tire chains or traction cables is suitable for the vehicle. Only a qualified service representative of the
vehicle manufacturer can make this determination.
